Urology

  • Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH)
    BPH is a common age-dependent condition in men. It is characterized by benign enlargement of the prostate, which may restrict the flow of urine. Symptoms include reduced urinary stream, hesitancy in urinating and frequent urge to urinate.
  • Bladder Cancer
    A cancer that forms in cells lining the inside of the bladder. Diagnosis is usually made by a urologist based on symptoms, urinalysis and cystoscopic evaluation.
  • Chronic Prostatitis
    Chronic prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland, sometimes caused by bacterial infection. Symptoms may include low back pain, testicular pain and pain on urination and ejaculation.
  • Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
    A common condition in men of all ages, erectile dysfunction is the inability to obtain and maintain an erection that is adequate for intercourse.
  • Hypogonadism
    Hypogonadism is diminished production of the male hormone, testosterone, which can result in decreased sex drive, energy, and other metabolic problems.
  • Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome
    A condition resulting in discomfort, pain, pressure or tenderness of the bladder and the surrounding pelvic region, often accompanied by urinary frequency and urgency.
  • Overactive Bladder (OAB)
    Overactive bladder is a condition causing frequent and urgent need to urinate that is difficult to suppress, sometimes leading to urinary incontinence.
  • Prostate Cancer
    A cancer that arises in the prostate gland. Diagnosis is usually made by a urologist based on physical exam, blood tests, and culminating in prostate biopsy.
  • Stress Incontinence
    Stress Incontinence is an involuntary leakage of urine when pressure is exerted on the bladder. It can occur with coughing, sneezing, laughing or exercising.

Dermatology

  • Actinic Keratosis (AK)
    A scaly or crusty patch developing on sun exposed skin.
  • Rosacea
    A chronic inflammation of tissues that results in redness and swelling of the skin, often on the face.

Opthalmology

  • Cataract Surgery
    Surgical treatment for clouding of the lens of the eye, affecting vision.
  • Dry Eye
    Diminished production of fluids from the tear glands, leading to eye discomfort and blurred vision.
