Rafael S. Wurzel, M.D., C.P.I.
Rafael S. Wurzel, M.D. is the founder and Medical Director of Grove Hill Clinical Research (formerly Connecticut Urological Research at Grove Hill). Over the past ten years, Dr. Wurzel has served as Principal Investigator of over fifty clinical research studies for a variety of urological conditions. Dr. Wurzel is a board certified Urologist and a Certified Physician Investigator.
Dr. Wurzel is in practice at Grove Hill Medical Center. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Autonomous University of Madrid and completed his Urology residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington, Connecticut. He served as Chief of Urology at the Hospital of Central Connecticut from 1991 to 2005.
Dr. Wurzel's interests and expertise focus on male sexual dysfunction, male voiding dysfunction, male factor infertility, hypogonadism and Peyronie's disease. Dr. Wurzel is the Medical Director of the Center for Sexual Health at Grove Hill Medical Center.
