Christopher W. Norwood, M.D.
Christopher W. Norwood, M.D. is a board certified Dermatologist practicing at Grove Hill Medical Center. He received his Medical Doctorate from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his postgraduate training at the National Naval Medical Center and the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland.
Prior to joining Grove Hill Medical Center, Dr. Norwood was an Active Duty Line Officer with the United States Navy. He previously practiced dermatology in Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Norwood is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. While in Maryland, he coordinated clinical research in dermatology. Dr. Norwood has authored many articles in dermatology journals and has been a presenter at professional meetings. He is a recipient of several academic awards and holds numerous memberships in dermatological organizations.
